The panel discussed and opportunities of creating a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) app that provided seamless and integrated multimodal transportation options. The panelists shared their experiences and insights on designing, developing, and launching a successful MaaS app.

Door-to-Door with Inclusivity

During the discussion, Baudens emphasized Trufi’s priority for inclusivity, which was also the topic of her PhD research. “It’s a big challenge because women tend to use public transport more than men,” she said, “due to their mobility habits and domestic responsibilities. They have shorter and more frequent trips during the day.”

Baudens was joined in the panel by other experts in urban mobility and technology: Alexandre Cabanis from Ubitransport, Saad El Medkouri from meep, Roelof Hellemans from MaaS Alliance, Yoann Kienne from Transdev, and David Koral from Freenow.
