On May 14 and 15 we held our own a hackathon concurrent with the #SmartDevelopmentHack held by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Our 35 volunteers in 10 countries and 7 time zones worked for 48 hours to begin development on new features:
When these features are pushed to production, the Trufi App to help people maintain a safe social distance on public transport. An entirely new driver app will sync the location location and occupancy of the bus. And we are creating a dashboard, so transportation authorities can see where the buses are and can identify hotspots of full buses.
